What Eliot likes most about playing in SWFSO: “Radu Paponiu is a delight, and working with him is a wonderful experience, as is getting to play with the various guest artists who join us.”
Also … “I will never forget talking with Gil Shaham and our concertmaster about the style in the concerto, specifically what Gil ascertained were the differences between the various accent markings in the parts. Of all the soloists I’ve performed with, Gil Shaham is by far the most pleasant and easy to work with, which made that entire SWFSO cycle an incredible experience.
