Age started learning Violin: 2 ½ years old

Degrees: Bachelor of Music (BM) in Viola Performance from New England Conservatory of Music; Master's Degree in Business Administration from IMPAC University; further academic training at Tufts University, Wright State University, and Harvard University Extension School.

Rachel studied and took lessons for 14 years PRIOR to getting into college

Teaching experience Rachel has:  Professor of Applied Music at Florida Southwestern State College and Instructor with the Florida Gulf Coast University Academy.  Rachel has taught private students for over thirty years, their ages ranging from four to eighty.

Special music awards, scholarships, or accomplishments Rachel has earned?

“I am the author of twelve books. Several of my books are in collections at the European Institute for Gender Equality in Lithuania, the Schlesinger Library at Harvard University. the Columbia University Library, the Ohio State University Library, and the State Library of Ohio. My Music of the Holocaust presentation, which is currently accessible on Youtube, is archived at Yad Vashem in Israel and is a teaching resource for the Ohio Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Memorial. My poem Ecce Cecilia was put to music by composer Paul Richards in 2011 in honor of the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra's fiftieth anniversary. And my novel The Horror Within is sold throughout the world.
