Born: Bloomington, Indiana.  Grew up in central Connecticut

Age started learning Oboe: 9 years old

Degrees: Bachelor of Music from Rice University; Master of Music from University of Southern California; Doctor of Music from Florida State University; Certificate in College Teaching; Cognate in Music Theory

Dione studied and took lessons on Oboe for 9 years PRIOR to attending college
